Why I Run 26.2

I Run to Stop MS.

I run for my mom.

I run for those with MS who can’t.  I run for Vets who can’t.  I run for car accident victims who can’t.

I run for the 90+ people who have donated to the MS Society on my behalf.  Your generosity is humbling.

I run for every person who’s said an inspiring word to me throughout this grueling 7-month training process. (BridgeRunners.  What. What.)

I run for the most important people in my life who will be waiting in the cold to cheer me on race day.

I run for the other 40,000 runners who will be experiencing the same fear, exhiliration, determination, and excitement.

I run because I can.

I run because I come from resilient stock.

I run because nobody ever drowned in sweat.

See you at mile 26.  Good luck to all the other bad assss runners who’ll be out there on Sunday.  YOU inspire me.
